About Levi

Our son Levi was so full of life and laughter and joy. He never ceased to amaze us!

From just two years old he could play miniature golf, hit a golf ball across our yard, play baseball, shoot hoops for hours and throw football with a perfect spiral. We just knew that he would be a professional athlete when he grew up. He also loved puzzles, trains (especially Thomas), Lightning McQueen, giraffes, foxes, turtles and ladybugs. He was the light of our lives. He was always a jokester and loved to tease us and play silly little tricks on us, giggling all the while. He was a total ham and would dance and sing for us, thoroughly enjoying the spotlight. He thought his big teenage brother was just about the best thing ever and they never tired of playing together. Levi also loved to help, whether it was mowing the grass, sweeping the floor, making pancakes, or changing diapers, he wanted to be a part of everything mommy and daddy were doing.

He was also so full of love. He gave everyone around him big Levi hugs and blew kisses when people would leave. He was without a doubt the world’s best snuggler. When his little sister was born when he was 3 years old he instantly had the most beautiful bond with her. He wanted to hold her even when she was crying and give her all of the love and comfort he had in his little heart.

All was right and wonderful in our world. Then one day, about a week after his baby sister Erin was born we noticed one of his feet turning in a little bit when he walked. 2 weeks later his balance and coordination was noticeably off and we took him in to be evaluated. He was then diagnosed with DIPG on Aug. 6th, 2019. His tumor was extremely aggressive and we only had 2 months with him after his diagnosis. We spent that time making memories with family and friends until he passed away Oct. 11, 2019. Forever 3
